Small Groups

 

 

 

Adult Small Groups and Classes

 

The following classes meet every Sunday at 9:00 a.m.

 

The Ware Class: A group of seniors studying various Bible topics.

The C.O.M.E.T. Class: A group of adults tho meet in McKinley Hall, led by Jim Estep.

The Wesley Class: A group of younger adults meeting in the Wesley Classroom and are working their way through the entire Bible.  Currently they are studying the book of Judges.

 

The following classes meet once a month: 

 

Men's Small Group: Meets the first Thursday of every month at 7:30 a.m. at the Colonial Room in historic downtown Sanford.

Women's Small Group (UMW): Meets the second Monday of every month at 10:00 a.m. on the third floor in the Activities Room located at the Renaissance Retirement Home (300 Airport Boulevard, Sanford).

 

   

The following classes meet at various times during the week: 

 

Disciple 1: An overview of the Bible taking you from Genesis - Revelation.  You don't want to miss this!  It is a 34 week journey through the Bible that will give you deeper walk with Christ.  Participants discuss Bible Passages, complete daily readings, and view a DVD featuring a Biblical scholar who highlights Biblical stories in great detail.  Please call the church office (407-322-4371) for our current class schedule.

Financial Peace University: This is a 13 week course, DVD based, and looks at the teachings of author and speaker Dave Ramsey.  Using Biblical principles and a tton of common sense, Dave Ramsey, who also hosts a radio show, takes you on a 13 week pilgrimage that will change how you view and do your financial life.  This course has saved lives, marriages, and put people back on the road to Financial Peace.  It is facilitated by an instructor from the church.  It is also a great way to get to know others. Please call the church office (407-322-4371) for our current class schedule.

Prayer and Healing: Are you in need of healing? Do you struggle with how to pray and to get results when you pray?  Then, join us for this 6 week prayer and healing class.  You will discover God's will for your prayer life and how you can pray more effectively.  Please call the church office (407-322-4371) for our current class schedule.
